SOLD: Sergeant for Corbin

I have a black sergeant (redone) seat with red piping that has extra padding for the passenger that I would like to trade (or sell 250 + shipping) for a corbin seat with the ability to accept the back rest. I will get pictures up later today. Anyone interested?

Nice seat chive man. Not sure why your lookin' for the backrest but fyi, my wife really likes mine. It's also very good for my 13 y/o son. They both like to have something to lean against especially when I goose it! They (Corbin w/ backrest) seem to be few and far between. Good luck.

You might wanna get that cover tightened up and reattached where the cover came unstapled.

Not trying to cause problems with your sale/trade, but FYI, that's not a "Sargent seat"... That's a stock seat modified by Sargent... There is a small, but distinct difference...

One, the full on thing, has a red plastic tray, with a storage compartment, slightly larger than a soda can... Second, the Sargent seat has two extra cargo hooks, at the rear of the passenger section...

It's also "universal" in shape, ie meant to fit everybody pretty good, while yours are most definetly made to someone's specifications... Not a bad thing at all... I'd say that makes it spot on for someone that rides two up all the time... Makes it impossible to fit the cowl though...

Just looking to get a correct representation of what it is you are trading... Better for all that way...

Thanks for the clarification! I currently ride on the sergeant you described with the 4 hooks and the storage can. To answer Wolverines question, I'm trying to get something with a back rest for my mom to ride with. Her and my girlfriend alike want the back rest, more so than the extra padding. Tweety, I fully agree with transparent information.

Ah... OK... I wasn't aware of that... Then, you probably got the best of both worlds, once you get that Corbin...

Yep, when I got the bike I got a full on sergeant seat, which is my daily ride, the above documented seat, and the OEM seat. Along with a buch of other stuff. So this seat isn't used too much, for the reasones above. The lower seat height is a nice thing for those vertically challenged.

Does anyone have a picture of the back rest you are talking about. I've never heard/seen of any such thing on a bike like this... I'm just curious how it looks.

If you wanted to get rid of the actual Sargent seat I have a set of CBR929 front forks I'd be willing to trade for it. Not so interested in the modified stocker though. I don't need the lower seat height and I'd prefer to keep my cowl.

Thanks for the offer but I just did the DMr revalve and springs and love the improvement! Mainly just interested in the Corbin seat and the next upgrade being the DMr F4 converted shock.

Last bump before I drop it and leave you all alone on this one, and just permantly attach a back rest to this seat. Also the Storz damper is still for sale/trade.
