WTB: airbox parts
I purchased a Superhawk several months ago, and it has a low RPM stumble. I lifted the tank, in an attempt to fix the stumble, and saw the air box snorkel was missing, and there was green tape covering two drilled out holes. My first thought was I don't think the green tape is OEM, and then CRAP. I then opened the air box and the air filter had been "modified", shaved off. The front velocity stack was lengthened by using a longer screw and a small piece of radiator hose. The tank breather was also missing and hoses blocked off. Next I will see what has been done to the jetting on the carbs. Needless to say I need an air box front snorkel, the front velocity stack and screws, and tank breather and hoses. Please pm me.
