WTB: 6 spoke front wheel

...that fits the VTR. Can't remember offhand but I think it's the 600 F3 wheel. Any color, doesn't matter as it will be repainted, but no dents or rash.

Thanks,

Greg i think you are correct on the model. The F2 still has a speedo drive, where as the F3 does not.

FYI. the F3 wheels are very popular with Streetard conversions and the old CB750F, CB900F, and CB1100F conversion over to Radials, so the price can get run up on ebay.

I know where you can get a sweet F3 rear for $75 plus shipping if it isn't already sold

Greg,
Not sure I've seen a 5-spoke (except Marchesinis, hi$$ alternatives, etc).
I know it's 6 spokes, but won't a VFR front (since 98) fit a VTR? I have a VFR front awaiting my SSSwingarm conversion, so I can't sell it...but they're on eBay all the time.
BTW, VTR rotors bolt straight onto the VFR rim (mine did/does), and the VTR spacers work too. I think the F3 rear matches the VFR also (both 6 spoker).

Thumper is correct about the F2/F3's, but I'm sure they have 6 spokes also. I have one of each of those for "Junior" (the 88 Hawk) to go with the VFR rear. F2 & F3 are identical except the rotor mounts & the speedo drives...and I think they interchange with VFR fronts for similar years.

Check these out on eBay (#230219662084), they look kinda cool (not 5-spoke)...but I can't tell about rotor fit from the pics. With your skills, I bet you could get a fit.

Yup, F3 or 94-present VFR. For verification, download the EBC catalog to verify rotor compatibility but I think I'm right.

My bad, you guys are right. It's 6-spoke. Heading changed. So.....anyone got one?

BTW, this is for the XS750 Cafe project. The stock rear is 7 spokes. Think anybody will notice?

If I have to use more than one hand to count, I'm lost.

If you are looking for a rear F3 i can point you to someone who was selling one for $75.

The F2 wheel is narrower than the F3, but otherwise they are the same i beleive.

I got an F3 rear if you need some measurements....

I've got an F3 (I'm fairly certain) front wheel with rotors. I got 'em off a guy selling 900RR parts, but it doesn't fit my 900's front. I'm pretty sure it's an F3 because I had one before and the wheels look exactly the same. Let me know if you're interested.
