So it seems to be my month for parts to break, I know its not me . So I noticed after a ride today that my eng temp was passing 200 and then climbed to 232. I took the fan motor off and hooked it up direct to my batt and a no-go. Is that the correct way to test, or atleast get something out of it? If so, does anyone have a spare sitting around? My friend at honda says I am 3 weeks out from getting one in country at a dealer cost price of $130. Can anyone do better? Thanks ya'll for the help in advance, like usual! -Squid-

Wile sitting idle while I was checking my nav trying to find an address on my phone I notied the fan come on on my bike and it just made a fast clicking sounds. Sounded like stripped gears or something and the fan wasn't actually spinning so looks like I need one two. What do you guys want for one?

 

Have you taken it off of the bike yet? There is a Nut that holds the fan on to the motor. That may have come off and allowed the fan to work its way off the shaft and just bounce around in the shroud.

 

No I haven't. Just heard it today. Haven't had a chance to look at it at all yet. Thanks for the info! I'll check that out to see if that may be the issue.
