I'm going to swap in an instrument cluster from an CBR, but after trying to get it nicely wired up and removable for a while, I concluded that the best way would be to get the plugs and have the option to swap back to the old cluster for the trips to the inspections centre...

Here in Sweden we have a yearly inspection... and if the mileage on the cluster doesn't match up, the inspector gets nasty... as in no riding for me nasty...

So... Does anyone have a instrument cluster from the early years 97/98-01 (two plugs on a heap of wires) that's damaged???

Should be some around here that have had to replace their clusters...

I'll pay shipping for the plugs... should be a hell of a lot cheaper than the arm and a leg Honda want's for them...

 

There is one on ebay for $165 US. Otherwise I will have mine available once I complete the upgrade to the 05 dash....if I can get things to work.

 

Well... I solved that looong ago though... I got the plugs from a crashed unit for peanuts on eBay...
