VTR Penske Shock

Shock in good condition. Set up for around 230 lb rider. Book and preload tool comes with it. Adjustable ride height of 12 mm. Was going to put it on my VFR, but would have to sink a couple hundred bucks more into it to make it fit and it still wouldn't be exactly right. $450 + shipping. Prefer money order or bank check because of Paypal fees. superhawk99@hotmail.com

If I had the money, I'd be in. I know someone could use it.

Bump. How about $450 including shipping? I'll take Paypal too if it makes it easier for someone.

how difficult would it be to change the weight set up? I'm 260 but I do need a new shock.

I'm currently about the same weight, so I don't think you would have to do anything. Setting the sag by increasing preload would be the first thing. I doubt the spring would have to be replaced though.

The only thing the spring says is Hyperco. I do have the Dyno sheet from when it was originally set up and it looks like it was set up for 242 lbs. Sorry, I can't find a spring rate number anywhere.
