Attn Stunters!!
Attn Stunters!!! 01 RC51 RVT1000
or sale is an 2001 Honda RVT1000R RC51
***This would be a perfect stunt bike or track bike***
*Bike was a NY state police theft recovery* VIN has been reissued by state of NY and bike is now titled in the state of PA with a SALVAGE title
Mechanically it is 100%, I can attest to this as I have take this bike on 2 multi day, 500 mile rides just this summer alone.
Body is rough... It looks good from a 15 foot distance but as you get close you can see the blemishes such as:
The tail is a mess... previous owner must have been an amatuer stunter as there are holes cut for a wheelie bar in the tail. Its also cracked at the edges in a few spots. (you can see these blems in the pictures)
The front fairings all have stress cracks at the mounting points and some scratches and various cracks in other places. there isnt chunks missing just obviously this bike was flopped over a few times. all the plastic is there and doesnt look bad from a distance. They also painted over all the factory stickers so the whole bike is now silver. (see pictures)
Tanks in good shape, not many blems. and new body kits can be had on Ebay straight from Japan already race stickered for under $500.00 shipped to your door in about 3 weeks... order one up, throw it on this winter, have a new looking RC51 in spring!!!!!
They converted this bike to a single sided exhaust. Its a good sounding pipe but needs real bike pipe clamps put on the various joints, it leaks in a few spots now, its not obnoxious but needs to be done to be correct.
** Bike rides, handles, runs, and performs outstandingly!!!
Heres what it has:
- Corbin seat, Rear Passenger seat, Double Bubble Smoked Windscreen, Gel Grips, Wave Rotors, Aftermarket Undertail with LED taillights, Flush mount side markers.
New Dunlop Tires
*** Only 6600 miles on it***
Call or text me any time. 570-204-8454 -Dan
Asking $3000.00 FIRM, all straight this is a $4500.00 bike, these are getting rare, get this one now!!!

Not Super but still a Hawk

Did you know that a professionally rebuilt motor in a Shawk puts out about 140 HP? Learn something new every day!
Honda Superhawk 996
Honda Superhawk 996
The NT650 has a huge following. It was never a big seller for Honda but a genuine cult bike. I think VTRSurfer's wife rides one. It combined with Kevin Erions racing it (at god knows what displacement) became the basic thought processes that became the SuperHawk.

Unbelievable Craigslist find
Hi Fellahs,
New to the forum and thought I'd post my find here. It's a 1998 Superhawk that was wrecked, then passed through a few hands over the course of a decade until it finally wound up under this guys deck on it's side to "keep it out of the weather". Major components are intact and a complete restoration is underway.
For sale parts o project
It appears the bike had just had new tires installed and was subsequently low-sided at speed due to the tires not being scrubbed in. They still have the lines from the mold down the center, front and back. Unfortunately the date code shows them from 2002 and early 2003, so a new set is in order.
Here's a couple pics of it when I got it home. I enjoy restoring Honda's back to new again and this one appears to be a great candidate!

Yeah, RZ_Racer's got it right. I got the bike for an offer of $500, but looking back I probably could have gotten it for half of that. I just didn't want to chance missing out by being a cheapskate. I have a NOS tank on the way as well as all new plastic. Don't hate me here, but I'm a pretty big fan of the stuff from china. Order it through www.alibaba.com though if you decide to get a kit. It was $430 shipped, and they will paint it any color you like with any decals you can think of at no extra cost. Went through ebay for the subframe, inner fender, rear wheel etc. And used up the rest of my current savings buying a few things from Inderocker here on the sight. Having redone a few other bikes, I know to not turn a wrench until you have everything you think you're going to need sitting in the shop. Anyways, more pics of it in my album if you'd like to check it out..

How about a link to the actual product?
There are a few of those for sale on EBay too for a bit more. I'm kinda partial to the Repsol Honda look. http://bit.ly/yYHDjO
It's the same company. If you notice the ebay ones ship from Guangzhou China, the trading company on alibaba.com is actually called Guangzhou Teng Xin Trade Co., Ltd. You can chat live with Linda LV on there to discuss color options etc. You can also order with a different front fender, if you have swapped your forks out, for no extra cost color matched to the set. The OEM colors are a perfect match. I was actually going to go with the Repsol set, but would have had to purchase a tank (mine's rusty inside) then pay to have it painted orange along with the wheels. It's just not in my budget. I decided to go with the Firestorm Turquoise color (Jerez Blue Metallic) with oem matched chrome decals to match the NOS tank I got from the UK. There's a guy on here from the UK that has the chinese repsol set on his Firestorm.

They look freakin' sweet! (His "mismatched" tank is the Jerez Blue Metallic color)
