VTR Pilot Jets for Slip-on Pipes!

I have a set of the original SuperHawk #45 pilot jets. When I went to a set of Yoshimura pipes the bike ran horrible. I installed a set of #48 pilot jets and theed bike was *sweet*.

Anyway, if you are running aftermarket pipes with stock jetting. Wrong! The least you can do its a set of #48. These should take away the"coughing and spitting" at low rpm. At least out did for my bike. And a few days later I took it on a 1500 mile roadtrip and got a high of 46mpg.

Selling #48 pilot jets (x3)
And #45 stock pilot jets (x2)

$12 includes shipping, domestic USA

Just to clarify (not to beat on your classified): It all depends on your setup, altitude, and mixture screw settnigs whether you need 48 pilots or not. Mine has been running great for over 10 years with the stockers, with slip ons and a K&N filter the whole time.

Thanks for the clarification. You are absolutely correct.

My bike is run at sea level, San Francisco, Ca. Also, the bike has KN Filters and the Yoshimura Slip-On pipes.

For my setup, the bike ran horrible after I installed the pipes. But the larger pilot jets cured the problem.

So, yes... it depends on many factors.
