SOLD: Vance & Hines slip-ons

SOLD

I picked up my 98 SH a few months ago and decided the Vance & Hines SS2R slip-ons it came with, although they sound amazing, are too loud for my liking (and my neighbors!). They are in good but not excellent condition, please see the pictures. Clamps are included (not shown) but I do not have baffles for them. I contacted V&H about baffles but, as expected, they no longer sell them. I do not have a recording of how they sound. I've found that attempts to record exhaust sound usually aren't the best representation of how they actually sound, but I'd be happy to try if you want.

I have no idea what a reasonable price is for these so I'll start with $300 + shipping. Feel free to make an offer or let me know if I'm way off. I'm located in Indiana.

My handle is gripnripper on other forums as well, including advrider.com if you want to see my status there...since I'm new. I'm happy to answer any questions you have.

Stop bad mouthing the Cap'n, Badger. I only bid 2 bits as I already have a set of V&H pipes as mentioned on the OP's other post about these where I was also ridiculed by your betters.

Must be referring to a different Chaos and parts hoarder because I haven't been able to claim that title for quite a few years... I still have two bikes and just enough parts to put the one back together, but other that a few gems I've saved I've actually listed or sold off most everything else.

Fair price I'd say. Don't see any damage and a couple hours of elbow grease would have them looking basically brand new. Getting near impossible to find a period set like that in that kind of condition.

I'm pretty sure he's talking about you, Cap'n. I have no idea who else he might be talking about.

Sorry, these are no longer available. I forgot to mark them as sold.
