SOLD: 1998 Superhawk
It's time to regretfully part ways with the Superhawk. Have loved having it but it is time to thin the herd. As is evident from the parts list, I just did a bunch of maintenance to the bike.
Includes the following:
Galfer stainless front brake lines
Galfer stainless clutch line
New EBC HH brake pads front and rear 1000 miles ago
Dunlop Q3 tires front and rear 1000 miles ago
New steel front and rear sprockets and DID X-ring chain 1000 miles ago
Rear is +2 for better acceleration and a usable 6th gear
Extra blacked out windshield included
Used K&N air filter
New extra stock air filter
Current filter on it is stock paper filter
Bike has been re-jetted as per 8541Hawk
HRC copy intake trumpets from Mikael
Jack Flash Extended brass mixture screws for ease of tuning
Flush mount front and mini rear turn signals
Manual cam chain tensioners
New petcock diaphragm
Upgraded MOSFET (new, not used) regulator/rectifier and fused Eastern Beaver harness
SW-Motech tank bag mount on gas tank ring - keeps tank bag off of the paint
Tech spec tank grips
Carbs synched 1000 miles ago
Valves checked and in spec at 26000 miles
Two brothers slip on exhaust - sounds great, recently repacked with Two Bros kit
Frame sliders
I have owned this bike since 2010, and never had any problems to speak of in over 10,000 miles of riding. Have loved every minute of it. I suspect the previous owner had some suspension work done, but have no documentation. It is taught, yet compliant and a joy to ride. Couple of scratches and one small stress crack at right side upper fairing mount (only notice if you know it is there).
Bike has 28,700 miles on it. It is located in Tucson, AZ. I am asking $2500 for it. Willing to deliver within a couple hundred miles of Tucson.
