RC51 on Craigslist. 1 MILE!
2003 Honda RC51 RVT1000R
No relation to the seller, just posting it up. Seems like a pretty fair price if you're in the market for a brand new '03 RC51 and the ad is for real.

prolly needs tires, fork seals, etc.... still pretty cool though. wonder why someone would buy it and then never even ride it at all

Maybe they thought the RC51 would end up rare and exclusive like the V4 RC's. It may very well be in due time.
There was a new one at a dealer in Nor-cal a few months back and they were asking 2k below msrp. With full warranty too! I think it sold pretty quickly

Wow, That is rare.... I thought -I would be one of very few RC-51 owners to see the first mile on their bikes "clicker"....
My 2003, I removed her from the crated on 2/13/03... Being the "Prep Tech" that day.... Rode the first 10miles ... Then delivered the bike to the owner..
Five years later , that first owner traded #1399 in on a VFR with 1,635miles on the "clicker".
I bought that RC-51 about three hours later.....
18,XXX on the clicker..... an roll'n...
