radiator

Anybody know where I can get a radiator repaired or a good used one? My right side rad is leaking and I refuse to pay 400.00 for a new one.

Break out the phone book and start making some calls. I'd call "kustom" type shops first. They usually always know the right places to go, or they might be able to do some aluminum welding for cheap. Although I'm sure someone on here has a used rad they would want to sell.

There are a few on Ebay.

You could also PM inderocker (Moderator here on forum) to see if he has one. He is part owner of OZ cycle and while his ebay page currently only has a left one he may just not have put up one yet for the right side.

I have removed my radiators and wouldn't mind parting with them. Right one is not pretty, but it didn't leak when I rode it. Here's what it was on the bike:

All of that spillage came from the overfill tank, not the rad...

I have a friend who owns a radiator shop in Houston, probably cheaper to get it done locally. Let me know if you want to use him and I'll get you the paticulars.

Meylers motorcycle radiator repair.. simply the best place I have ever used or heard about.

Work is top notch, service great,, prices outstanding.

I have had them repair more then a dozen radiators at this point, some mine, some for others bikes I've worked on. Great job with fast turn around each time.

I wonder about the quality myself but from the pics they look fairly stout and the welds look good .
