Race fairings for 98 super hawk

Hey,

I am sorry to make this my first post but i cant seem to find these anywhere. I got a good deal on a 98 669 super hawk.

I want to make a track bike out of it and I can not seem to locate a set of race fairings for it.

Is anyone selling any? or would someone be willing to point me in the right direction?

thank you very much

my email is pezforbrains@gmail.com

I think you mean 996 and your best bet is to either find a rashed set of fairings on ebay or check sharkskinz for new ones.

You could also look at Thurn Motosport. I think Sharkskin and Thurn ARE the only one selling race fairing for the VTR.

I been there a couple month ago...

Good luck!

You could also get a set for an RC51 if you are just racing it. A buddy of mine went that route to race his SH & said the race stuff bolted right up with minimal effort (no headlight to worry about)

Well, sort of. You can do RC51 bodywork on it but the major problem is the headlight since that ties into the front cage, etc. A few guys have done it on the street but with custom headlight designs. Looks great though.

I was just saying that on the track thats a non issue so its easier.

I know with the RC51 fairings I mounted I had to trim the belly pan a bit to make room for the exhaust.
