Penske Rear Suspension For Vtr 1000

4 sale Penske rear suspension w/new spring (7 inchesx2.25x900lbs) in excell working cond. It comes with compression and rebound damping and i want it for $450 plus shipping. (no handling charge) i live in Bloomington IL.

I have no affiliation. But I do have this shock on my bike. This Penske is a great shock. It is rebuildable and can be upgraded to their hi/low comp adjustment anytime also.

So, assuming you have the spring to match your weight, how much do you weigh?

And do you happen to have a rough idea of how many miles have been put on the shock? It may be smart for the lucky buyer to do a rebuild before throwing the shock on the bike... plus that would be a good time to customize the shim stack!

Also, is this the 8100 series? It appears that the 2-way 8660 can be upgraded to the 3-way 8760, but I've yet to find evidence to support the claim that this particular one, if it's the 8100, can be upgraded at any time. Of course, I have yet to find evidence refuting that claim, as well. Anyone?
