Rick, what model # is that Wilber? I couldn't tell from the pictures.

I was looking at possibly buying your shock, so I decided to find some pricing info. to see if you were in the ballpark. What info. I found is from 2010 though:

Good: Model 530 Ecoline entry level shock with manual preload adjuster only: $415.00.

Better: Model 630/640 Standard shock with manual preload adjuster and rebound damping adjuster: $569.00.

Best: Model 631/641 Rear three way damping model with remote reservoir: $849.00.

Best: Model 642 Rear piggyback model with three way damping adjust: $999.00.

Add hydraulic remote spring preload adjuster $249.00

 

It's a Sportline model with preload, rebound, Hi and Low speed compression and ride height adjustment. My suspension guy said it's equivalent to a Penske triple clicker. I took it in to my local suspension shop to see if I can re-purpose it for one of my VFR's. I was ready to drop the dough on a new Penske for it before I got this bike and shock.

The spring rate marking says: 59/59 -180-150. So it's a variable rate spring.

The current price he gave me for this particular Wilbers is $1050. But this shop is not a direct distributor for Wilbers.

 

I see there is right side damage to the bike so I wonder is the right rear set straight? Mine is bent a little and the peg angles to the rear a few degrees. I am afraid it will break if I try to straighten it so I would like to replace it with a straight one.

 

How much for the fuel tank?

 

Use a propane torch to heat it up and bend it back real slow. If you end up breaking it , then buy another???

I don't think the rearset I am selling is bend. The frame sliders took the damage. The foot peg doesn't have an signs of hitting the ground besides the feelers. I will compare it a known good rear set and confirm.

I got a reply to my message to Wilbers. And the price directly through them is $869(+tax, t think).

So in light of that I am lowering the price to $450 shipped.

 

The Vance and hines pipes are now available for sale. My buddy is going with carbon cans.

The people who contacted me first about the pipes will have the first shot in that order.

The right side is in very good condition. The left side has a dent were the mounting straps go and the left side mounting strap is broken. So it will either need to be welded back or completely removed and use a universal slipon mounting strap.

I will put pictures up later and price it.

 

I'd like to get in line for the exhaust cans, when the price is available.

 

Feel free to make an offer on the exhaust cans based on what they are worth to you.

I am still waiting for a reply from V&H on a price and availability for a new mounting strap. I am hoping to take the end caps off and straighten out the dent from inside and repack the muffler with new wool.

The frame is cracked. I gave it away to a local guy who wants to weld it and use.

 

I'd be interested in the mirrors if they're available.
