Lots of Super Hawk parts for sale/giveaway!
I'm getting ready to put a bunch of parts on ebay, but there doesn't seem to be a lot of bidding going on in VTR land, so I thought I'd let them sit here for a while. I have photos of most of it.
-engine case, crank, rods, bearings. Mild scoring on rear cylinder. Perfect for boring for an engine project. Keep yours running while you build!
I even have new con rod bolts I'll throw in. I'll send it loosely assembled with some really good stock pistons. $50
-clutch basket, hub and pressure plate. Great condition. $100 *SOLD*
-complete transmission. good condition. shifts perfectly. $100 *SOLD*
-rear swingarm with spools. No damage. see updated post
-DID ERV2 520 chain and AFAM 15/42 sprockets. Used but serviceable. $50 *SOLD*
-rear subframe. slightly bent (racked sideways) but easy to straighten. Black $30
-complete stock exhaust system. Bafflectomy. All or parts. $75
-clutch master cylinder, with lever. Perfect. $50 *SOLD*
-RaceTech RC51 .95kg/mm fork springs. $75
-good wiring harness $40 *SOLD*
-both side case covers. left is great, right needs paint but otherwise good (not the one I crashed on!) left $40, right $25, rt gasket $10 *ALL SOLD*
-rear wheel in great condition. see updated post
-new (400 miles) cam chain tensioners. Factory parts with then new part number that supersedes the old. I haven't heard of the new ones failing. $30 *SOLD*
-'00 RC51 front wheel, slightly bent but straightenable. $25 *SOLD*
Updated posts with pictures are there for much of this stuff.

No tail section.
I have an undertail with the LP light relocated and trimmed up.
Chain and sprockets are the good stuff, with ~3k miles. *SOLD*
email me and I'll send pictures.

And i'll throw in some other goodies. what do you need? turn signals? I have some cool no-cut rears that came with my Mori high-mount exhaust.

That's probably high.
I'm in no hurry. It'll probably be around when you get past the Holiday spending frenzy. I'm not advertising anywhere else. I'll let you know if I do.

That's not a bad deal, I just got my calipers and rotors in today, so I have enough projects to keep me busy for a while
....I may check back with you on the sub frame in a few weeks, if you still have it...:-|

Which price for ch/sprockets
What do you want for the chain/sprockets, $50 (1st post) or $100 (second thoughts, perhaps, in the later post). I'm interested, but a little underfunded too, at the moment.

No. the front fairing and frame head were used to stop the bike from ~75 MPH. I do have a nice head casting that was cleanly separated from the rest of the frame, but I'm keeping it for the memories it provides.

I haven't taken the time to weigh everything. I'm sure it will be right around 50# for the cases, crank and rods.
At 50 lbs. UPS ground is $36.55. Since I'm not real positive about the weight, how about $50 for the parts and $50 shipping?
If it was me, I'd buy it for that!
cheers,
Rand

Ha! I was just ribbing you on the other thread about this! LOL That sounds like a very good deal to me so let me get past the first and collect another rent check, then we can do the deal. For now, consider it sold - funds forthcoming. Were you in Houston on business? Lovely town! Was considered America's most dangerous for a while. God - a whole month - you're lucky you got out alive - most people are in so deep by that time they have to accept a transfer & relocation package.
