You must not really want to sell. Look around you
can find complete bikes in good condition under 2
grand now. You may get half of that for the engine.

I'm not dreaming I know what I have into this engine and I don't need to sell it... if someone wants it can afford it and is willing to pay ill sell it, if not it'll sit until I get more time to ride the bike I work 16 hrs a day at my auto shop and have a one and a half year old son I spend every free second I have with. riding doesn't mean as much to me right now as it did when I built this thing I will have time to enjoy it in the future if no one wants it for the right price... try building this engine and see how much it costs then tell me I'm asking too much I'm sorry if I offended you or anyone else for listing this at what I feel is a fair price but im not giving it away for no reason if I don't get what I want for it ill just let it sit in the garage until I have time to enjoy it

Having just built, I guess, a stage .75 (pretty much everything maniac did except the oversize valves), I can attest to how much these engines cost if you want more power. However, I did all the work myself. Horsepower doesn't come cheap with these engines!
Good luck with the sale. If you ever decide to part out the engine to make your money back, keep me in mind for the complete heads.

Just out of curiosity, what does a stage one engine make power wise? I've only had pretty much stock engines in the superhawks I've owned. I always thought is was hard to make extra power out of these motors? If a good stocker is making 95-100 RWHP. What kind of power would a stage one motor make? also torque? much of a difference there?
Thank you
Thank you

Spending 3500 dollar +- and only seeing 18 to 25 hp increase would be quite dissapointing number.... but myself and alot of other are always hung up the hp number dont know why that is but a nr is just that... how it rides must be a blast and alot of torque to handle nice 2nd gear wheelies...
I also second that the price on the engine fair especially with the headwork and oversize valves thats i guess a quarter off the hole price off the engine... new guides... new valve seats... valves themselves etc etc
remember small things add up... on such a engine build
If your parting the engine out like CruxGNZ said... i really want the cams please

18-25 hp makes more of a difference on a bike than you would think... its a blast to ride and how it should have come factory... not super fast but the torque is awesome... I cant attest to the wheelies as I don't do them (fat with no balance) but its definitely a very noticeable difference I'm not interested in parting it out right now...

Excluding the heavy duty diesel truck group just about all motor vehicle enthusiasts would be ecstatic with a 20% - 25% increase in power for $3500. I would guess a complete rebuild replacing all the same parts but with factory stock parts would be close to this much money. This is not an engine for someone just looking for a fresh engine to get a bike back on the road.
If my finances were better I would have been all over this the first day.

well it took me 5 years and lots of money the most was getting the heads ported with a flow bench for someone that knows what he is doing.

The flywheel will make a big difference. also not sure if he did this but getting it all balanced including the flywheel adds cost. had to send crank, rods, pistons, and so on to a place that has the right machinery
If I did not have my engine I would jump on this. you can sell your old engine to get cash back. well worth every penny if it works.
