OK I'm interested. What do you provide with the set to attach them to the frame? Do you think Velcro would be too thick and not still permit a close enough (tight) gap and close conformance to the frame without permitting more dirt and water to get between?? Velcro would provide some "stand-off" for low heat transfer and also make them removable.

Also, what fabric and resin types did you use (prepreg?), number of layers, orientation (i.e., 30/60/90 degrees, repeat?), vacuum bagged prior to cure with temporary bleeder to pre-consolidate, curing temperature and method (under vacuum bag), secondary UV resistant clear finish type and number of coats, etc??

To mount frame covers to frame I use and prefer good qality two side tape (I use-3M water resist tape). U can also use a engine silicone gasket. Velcro it's a little mistake Covers are perfect fit to frame, no problem with dirt water etc...if someone use vtr as a dirt bike it can be a problem
Frame covers have three layers of high quality carbon fiber-one plain and two twill layers. I use high quality clear resin and UV resistant.
