I can't remember right off but is this the stock gearing? If it is than I am interested.

Stock is 16-41, and uses a 530-pitch chain. This is the same gearing (and actual sprocket combo) that comes standard with the Sumofallparts kits sold on eBay.....

Good prices Micky and a great mod. It saves some significant weight and improves throttle response.

Thanks I need to get rid of some stuff. I have a box full of sprockets and will get rid of the good ones I will not be using, like these (will be going to 16/44 next time around).....

If Im not mistaken I think the parts numbers match to the '97 VFR as well. That heavy pig could use a lift. I'm about to tear into it as I have the VTR as fast as I need it to be. With your HP improvements you can run the taller gears. Quite a road-horse I imagine. Regards

Not sure about the rear sprocket (for 97 VFR).... As for my gearing, I am torn between gearing it slightly taller for more relaxed crusing and slightly lower for *****-out roll-ons.... I think 16/44 should be a decent compromise. We'll see.....

Don't know, don't have the part numbers, sorry. You can have a look at most sprocket sites and do a cross-reference.

I beleive it`s also a Vortex (came as part of a "Sum of All Parts" kit with Vortex rear). As for shredding the chain, I have been running nothing but 520 for the past six years (or more, forget exactly)......

520 will work just fine for you had mine for a long time I just got a supersprox rear or I would be up for that.

Price drop: $35 for both (plus shipping). If they don't sell at this price I will simply keep them......
