FS: Arrow full system, hi-mount, carbon cans

I have decided to stick with my full Akrapovic system and so will be parting with the Arrow race system (carbon cans, hi-mount) I picked up a few months back. This system is BRAND NEW (has never been mounted). It is complete, including the hi-mount (aluminum) hangers too.

Arrow claims an increase of 6.5 hp with this system and a significant weight loss.

Asking: $1150 plus shipping.

+1 on that. When I saw that post I ran to my checkbook and cried! Actually I spent a bunch of money earlier this year with various members. If this had come up 2 months ago I would have been all over this.

Thanks guys.

FWIW, I paid this much for a USED Akrapovic so this is quite a good deal for someone, especially considering the only NEW full systems you can still get to my knowledge are Akras and I have only seen them on eBay (German site) at twice to three times this much money...

Anyhow, if no one steps up to buy, I`ll just keep it......

A mouth-watering teaser of a VTR with an Arrow system (though this one seems to be low-mount version):

yessir. I would truly have loved to install it on my VTR and at the very least listen to it, but then the system would no longer be new......

I would gladly trade you a set of used Jardine carbon fiber high mount slip ons . Heck I'll even throw in a 12 pack. Ok maybe not, but I had to try.

Mighty tempting offer, especially seeing as I have Jardine hangers for my Akras already, but I'll have to kindly decline.....

If that video doesn't get you hard you're a girl. Wowza. Best system I've heard. If I had an extra kidney I'd buy the thing, that's for sure.

FWIW, I am open to considering partial or full trades although truthfully, the VTR "want list" is now relatively short......Just thought I'd mention it in case someone has something interesting.....

A full M4 system? Or a Mori race exhaust complete with modified oilsump...?

Sorry... No trade... But it had to be done as you are mercilessly teasing these guys... And I KNOW those are on the want list...

he he, good one Markus.

A complete M4 I could possibly consider. WEre I building a track-only bike, the Mori set-up would definitely interest me but not for my street bike.

The stuff I had in mind is more along these lines:
- lightweight subframe and/or fairing stay (Ti, aluminum or carbon)
- Ti rear axle
- carbon bodywork and/or tank
- set of FCRs with a TPS

Of course, I doubt anyone has any of this stuff, but who knows......

it´s a shame I don´t have dyno chart with this system - I have low mount carbon as seen and heard on video - but it seems to work very well on stock engine. And my feeling is it´s even better after I put custom baffles in due to very loud deep sound. It´s still very loud and deep, but not tearing my ears :-)

A free Bump..

And a wish on my part... If only I knew I was keeping the SH...but until I do, just cant justify spending that kind of $$ on something I'll never see a return on if I have to sell or trade in the SH soon.

I think Two Bros still make low mount slip on's. There are other companies that you can just buy the cans if you have midpipes. But you are correct as far as I know for a full system. Actually come to think of it Jardine still makes slip on's for SH's and there are probably others as well.

A few co. USED to make full systems for the VTR, including Arrow (obviously), Akrapovic, Moriwaki, Two Brothers, Indigo, Yoshimura. If you look at the Japanese Webbike site you will see a few others too (Yamamoto, K-Factory,....). Full systems are now realatively hard to come by and those that you find new are quite $$$$$$ (much more than $1150 I assure you). Slip-ons, on other hand, are readily available......
