FS: Aftermarket goodies!
Well since everybody and their brother is selling stuff right now and all us SH riders are a bunch of scavengers, I might as well get rid of my front end parts from my fork swap. All these parts fit the SH. All prices are plus shipping and shipped in the U.S.A.
Stock
Silver Front Wheel with pretty worn tire-$50
Front Master Cylinder with Two Brothers resivoir cap-$50
Front Calipers-$25

I honestly have no clue lol. I know its for the 1000rr, but it has no bracket for the resivior to rest on and no prongs for a brake light switch so I didn't feel like messin with it. Sorry for the lack of info...

Hello, I am interested by the 6 pistons calipers. I am reading conflicting reviews of how much they actually improve the braking and feel, with notably some issues with pad wrapping.
What's the final word? Seeing that there aren't many bikes with 6 pistons out there make me question whether they bring a real benefit.

lots of bikes come with 6 piston calipers. most liter bikes do, older kawis did aswell. my 98 zx6r has 6 pistons, gsxr 1000 pre radial calipers were all 6 piston. youd be fine with a 6 piston setup on a street bike. also theyll improve your bike stopping greatly as the stock brake setup is crap

Thanks for the feedback. For $75 I guess I'll just give them a shot and see for myself
I used to track my superhawk before I start racing a 600 gsxr. I upgraded my SH MC to a PT (italian brand) 19/20 + SS lines and still don't like the feel after numerous bleeding, disc replacement and pads change.
The braking is alright but the amount of travel and the feel unsatisfactory for spirited canyon riding.
Just FYI here is a list of the other mods:
- hyperpro progressive rate fork springs with recommended oil
- LSL clamps with flat bar
- 4mm spacers added to rear suspension
- erion mufflers (came with the bike)
- K&N airfilter w/ Dynojet kit (180/185, needle 5th grove)
- Pair & Smog removed
- Volt meter
- R1 or R6 (can't remember) regulator re-wired with bigger gauge cable and soldered connectors

i swapped to a k6 radial master ss lines and gsxr 4 pots and the difference was huge, the guys who run the 6 pots like these say that even with a stock master the bike is grabby. so with your setup you should be good to go.
also t dogg pm sent on the brembo, well 4 pm's as i kept thinking of more things to ask or say, lol
