Not sure why I'm replying to this For Sale ad and I whole heartedly wish a quick and successful sale but...

Why do people come to the Superhawk Forum to sell their Superhawks? I mean I would love to have 2 of the best damn bikes ever made sitting side by side in my garage, but honestly another Superhawk will not be my next purchase and I will never sell mine!

Although this is a great place to network so we can try to pawn it off on one of our friends, but I don't think anyone here will buy another one for ***** and giggles. And unfortunately I don't know of anyone looking for a bike right now, otherwise I'd help you out Moose.

Try sport-touring.net, fireblades.org, and other sportbike forums. I really don't mean this to sound negative or anything cause this forum is a happy place that I come to for relief from the daily grind full of wonderful people with similar personalities and Mparish don't be offended by this post please.

I do have a personal question for you Mparish- Why in the heck are you selling your 'Hawk? Other than personal or financial reasons which are completely rational and understandable, are you doing it to get something else?

hotbrakes...i hear what you are saying, BUT i disagree. when i was looking for my hawk i exclusively lloked on this site (and eventually bought) my bird form here. who knows a hawk better then the obsessive, informative guys here? that was my logic anyhow.

good luck with the sale!

Hotbrakes - while members of the forum may not be looking for another Superhawk, they are the best salesmen for the bikes. Maybe some member has been talking about how much fun his bike is to ride and peaked the interest of one of those I4 guys. I have a co-worker that loved the sound of my bike and watched the on-board track day videos and was interested in getting one. Its mainly for the networking.

I'm selling the VTR because I'm old and I have a hard time riding the thing any distance at all. I love it, I wish I wasn't starting to get older but......
I thought this would be a good place to sell it. I will try other forums per your recommendation.
As you can see, I've already tried Craig list. So far offers of trades that I'm not interested in. One was from redneck@bla, bla, bla. No thanks.

Best of luck with the sale. I celebrated my 58th last month - I wish I had celebrated the day by buying my 58th motorcycle but God had other ideas.

I'm with you and the other guys that you only need only one and she is the queen of the roost. You're right that if your going to drive it like you stole it - it will beat your ***. Even finely tuned, with that much power/torque and small weight it's a workout. You might imagine I don't play golf.

If I get a hundred miles on the Superhawk per week I'm doing good. It's starting to be prime riding weather in Central Texas but I split my time between the Superhawk and my VFR.

I don't mind that you post here. At least you have been a member of the forum for more than some sellers. Some of these guys come here with their first post being the ad to sell it.

Whie I was looknig for my VFR I checked out VFRD and found it there... seems like a logical place to find that type of bike. I'm sure there are plenty of "lurkers" that pop in now and then looking for VTR's in thier area.
