FS: 01 VTR

FYI, my '01 is "on the block". 01 Honda VTR 1000F Superhawk with about 33.8K on it. Purchased with 30K on it this year. Have $3K invested and priced to sell at $2500 firm. New Metzler M3s this season and new APE CCT’s this season. T-rex sliders are on it. No other aftermarket parts. Clutch/front brake fluids and coolant changed this season. Oil has been changed twice per mileage.(3K). Carbs synched and valve clearance checked this season. Must have cash in hand to test ride. Bike in great shape! Runs great and will get up to 44mpg. Adult owned and ridden...not abused. Email for more info. Bike was down by first owner at some point on both sides, but minimal damage to front blinkers, left mirror, small crack under left front blinker, and crack on undertail behind rt rear blinker that I repaired. There are a couple small scratches under the bra. Streaking on crankcase is the result of overzealous degreasing, but only cosmetic. Luggage rack not included. I'm still riding it...just wanted to have one bike instead of two.

When you post on craigs from Pbucket, copy and paste the html code...not the Img code.

SuperC...the above pics were my last ditch effort and putting up codes and they are the IMG codes. Don't know why they didn't work the first time. Go figure!!!

Tyronne,
Where did you get the luggage rack? I need one of those.

Grasshoppermouse...the other bike is my '05 hawk and I use it for my trips, but want to ride it more than I have been and the '01 w/ the M3's is my "wanna take a ride today on some twisty road" bike. Bill...the rack is a "cornandp" hand made special. I got it bare aluminum and used Krylon "hammer" finish paint on it. I put the seat on the 05 when I take a long trip and need the rack. It's great! Otherwise...on the 05 is a huge tank bag and off I go. I rode the 01 yesterday and put about 255 on it. It runs well and I have no complaints about the bike. The previous owners could've kept it a bit cleaner than they did. Today I added the last pic. That was one of the first things I repaired on the bike. A boo-boo by the first owner. The guy I bought it from didn't have the bike long enough to give it a bath.

That's a good looking 01. If you were not so far from me, a buddy of mine would already have it sitting in his garage. Good luck with the sell.
