I NEED THE FRAME MOUNTS FOR THE SIDE RADIATOR COVERS . ONE PAIR WOULD COST $14 EACH AND THE OTHER MOUNTS ARE DISCONTINUED . I COULD HAVE THEM FABRICATED BUT IF SOMEONE HAD THEM IT WOULD BE MUCH EASIER . IF YOU HAVE THEM NAME A PRICE . THANKS .

 

I'm not sure exactly which mount(s) you are referring too. Do you have a part number for them?

There is no part # for one pair of the mounts . Honda discontinued it . These are the small pieces of aluminum that mount the side fairings / radiator covers to the frame . I will probably just have to get them fabricated . I will check Ron ayers . Thanks for the advice , and by the way nice 6 spoke F3 / 900rr wheels . I am on the hunt for a set myself .

Manufacturers can't discontinue OEM parts until 7 years after date of manufacture. This means we are guaranteed VTR parts until at least 2012. The older aluminum brackets found on the 98-00 VTR's may have been discontinued, but the new steel brackets from 01-05 are still available. The part numbers are; 64218-MBB-000 for the left side and 64217-MBB-000 for the right side. Hope that helps!
