For Sale - $175 shipped to the continental USA
Well used Aerostitch Roadcrafter Suit size 46 'Custom'
I bought this for this winter but it doesn't fit me on the Sport Bike.
It's too short from the seat to shoulders.
I'm 5'11" & 210 lbs. with a 39" waist
These are great suits that cost $757 new
Heavy cordura outside, gortex membrane, and nylon inside liner.
Putting on one of these suits is kind of like wearing a set of leathers...only made from Cordura & not as tight fitting.
You can wear them over your work clothes so they are great for commuting to work.
They are heavy duty & very well made.
Full length leg zippers, armor in knees, elbows, & shoulders.
Zipper vents on sides allow access to your jean pockets, under arm vent zippers.
Pockets everywhere for storing your stuff.
Details here:

This suit is faded and has damage to the left forearm.
I called Aerostitch & they can patch it for about $25 - $35.
Damage only appears to be to the cordura NOT the gortex
Slight damage to left knee but it did not go thru the cordura.
This was a custom made suit & is for a person that fits a 46 jacket but is a little shorter than me.
I could wear it if I was riding a touring motorcycle or cruiser - a bike with an upright position. On my 1000RR it is just too short from my seat to shoulders
Sorry for the poor pictures.
Looks like my digital camera has dust on the sensor

I may end up sending it in to Aerostitch & have it modified for my old fat man body for somewhere around 100-200 bucks. Get the back pad & hip armor too while I'm at it.
Still have to add up all the alteration prices

If I could sell it I was just going to invest in something right away for the work commute.
It's funny cause it fits good when I'm standing but in the sport bike riding position it doesn't fit me very well.
Didn't find out til my 1st commute to work with it....was too late to get my money back then

OK, here are pics of the arm damage, also both elbows, both shoulders, both knees, & seat.
Looks like the guy I bought it from used RTV silicone to try to seal the arm damage.
It appears to be thru the Cordura but not the Gortex.
Also notice the velcro is loose. I have no idea what the velcro is for....some accessory
There is some other crash damage but nothing is thru the Cordura.
All the seams are intact.
My camera must have dust on the sensor because it puts little white dots on some pics

Also altho it doesn't show in the pics it is faded from the sun light.
I have heard the red fades the worse than the grey.
There are 3 guys in the office that have Aerostitch suits - 2 roadcrafters & 1 Darien.
They swear by Aerostitch !
Those guys probably have a million motorcycle miles between them!
I trust their opinion.
They also have heated vests, chaps, gloves & ride in the worst weather when I leave my bike in the garage!
I've even seen Jason ride in the snow ! Light snow but still snow !
This is a well worn suit and by no means anywhere near new.
It is, in my opinion, a serviceable suit.
I planned on using it for my work commuting & for country road rides this winter.

Kind of a random post, but I just got my custom aerostich last week. The quality on these things looks pretty good and after a week I can say that above 40 dergrees they're pretty good. Below wear another layer of clothes. Regardless they're high quality suits and allow me to extend my riding season up here in the midwest.

Yes the 600RR was just too small for a good road bike !
The 1000RR is much more comfortable on those 350 mile day tours
It actually has some low end grunt kinda like my good old Superhawk !
I still have the 600RR track bike.
I've almost finished the repairs from my little crash on the track & my ribs have healed
My Komodo leathers kept me from getting any road rash
Still have to install a sub frame & then she's ready to go back to the track.
Was working on getting down my lap times to race pace hoping to race Oak Hill in Sept.
After setting my best lap time, after about 20 laps, I missed my turn in marker, got the "deer in the headlights" feeling for a moment & ran too deep in the turn & tucked the front
(must have been tired)
Oh well...there's always next season !
Only about 12 more seconds to shave off my lap times to be competitive with those young bucks
