The Ventura rack is light and low viz...two thumb screws and the top rack comes off and you can ride around with virtually no additional weight. Side stands go alongside the tail and connect at the rear peg mount. I have this on my VFR as well, that's why I'm keeping the pack.

I also have a TechniMount 19mm stem rack in black annodized for $60 including shipping. Radar detector or GPS mounts up to it with ease (Garmin holder will be removed).
