I have 2 choke cable "adapters" from a Polaris snowmobile, in brass (I think, they are definitely metal). They screw into the stock carbs, allowing a solid connection and easier to thread in.
Unfortunately they won't allow the VT1100 cables enough slack to go into the carbset correctly, which were required when I moved the lever to the handlebar. NEVER break the stockers again!
