it'd be nice to own a brand new one, but I don't think I could handle the price knowing that as soon as it left the lot it was worth about $4,500 at best.

Wow, I have never seen the rear of an unaldulterated SHawk. That fender or whatever you call it is truly FUGLGY

It is hard like you guys said considering it would immediately be worth maybe 4k as soon as you get it home. But what can you buy that's really comparable in a brand new bike? Probably not too much (well maybe more recently considering I'm sure dealers are giving some stuff away). And it's also funny considering I've seen several here in Florida used for MORE if you can believe it. Some asshat on CL has one for $8500!!!! and one or two more near me for $6500. Hope they don't mid sittin' on 'em, like forever lol.

I bought mine last year brand new as on 05 model that never even had a battery put in it. It was in the back of the showroom right next to a green neon sign that made it look almost baby poop brown. Picked it up planning on repainting it but got it out in the sun and liked the titanium color. I paid 5100 out the door for it. They even threw in a extended warranty on the tires for free.

considering you can steal a buell 1125R for about 7 grand, that'd be a better buy in my opinion.

Yeah that's crazy and I'm sure if you mentioned the buell and the cbr I'm sure you could get the superhawk for less...Titanium that's a pretty sweet deal for a brand new bike.

Too much money for a $3500 bike...I'd rather have a 10,000 or less mile used one, and spend $3000 in suspension, brakes and motor

Hey, just think about it. You could buy this bike, but don't ride it, put it away in storage for 20 years, then in 2030 you could sell it for big bucks, like about the same price you paid .

I could buy the last 2 or 3 bikes listed for sale by forum members that probably have some decent upgrades and might have a couple hundred left over. Brand new Hawk IS a cool idea though.
