Sounds like a pretty sweet deal for 2 grand. Do I remember seeing the bike on ebay? I can't imagine it wouldn't sell for at least that much on there (or just have your contact info on there and get the exposure and sell it off ebay without the fees Done that enough times) From my experience over the years selling bikes... You have a good description listing the important reliability upgrades and recent maintenance. BUT you could do better in regards to your pictures. Yes the soapy bike and cute girl is a nice pic, but not for selling the bike. Same goes for the pics in a garage full of other stuff. Pull the bike outside, and if you don't feel like doing a full detail at least get a can of Honda spray polish and give it a quick wipe down and take better, clearer and more detailed pics showing the actual cosmetic condition of the bike. Take a bunch. Take some close ups too. Make the bike the center of attention, not the rest of the stuff in your garage or whatever is going on in the background. And I'm not saying your bike is dirty but I can't really tell HOW clean it is from the pics in the ad. If I listed that bike on craigslist it would be sold same day for 2k (and I'm sure a bit more within a few days). It looks like a nice bike-sales pics are the time to show it off. A clean cosmetically stock bike sells itself regardless of the year. Best of luck. If I were looking to buy one right now I'd buy that in a second for 2k.

Cap,
I used to be able to copy and paste web hosting images onto the body of my CL ad.
Now they seem to block those. What is the best method for posting good resolution photos on your CL ads?

Yes, I used to use photobucket and could post nice HUGE pictures in the body of the ad. They started blocking that. They did make their own pictures a LITTLE bigger but they still suck. Often what I'll do is both provide the ebay link if I also list it there (since the geographic exposure is greater and the pictures are a lot better) and also simply offer to email higher resolution pics (and more of them) to interested parties. It's not a big deal to someone who is actually a serious buyer. Yes it sucks that they no longer allow larger pictures from another web host, I don't know if there is any way around that. If so I'd love to hear from someone, but I never see larger pictures ever and spend quite a bit of time on craigslist so I'm assuming it's not happening.

Point being that good quality pictures tell the story, and I could probably make a living buying vehicles off craigslist, taking them home and simply taking better pics, and flipping them. Not the case here but I've lost track of how many Ferraris and Lambos I've seen on craigslist (haha really? On craigslist, yes...) that were photographed in the rain, with a flip phone, from 50 feet away at night... probably a little **** as I have an art degree but just trying to be helpful

Live Free - Don't sell her, U'll regret it!
And thats way too cheap.
But if U really want to sell it take better pics & give a better description of why this moto is so damn good. Need to explain it like you're talking to someone who doesn't know why the VTR is so ******* good.
Use landscape as background, mountains or lake / pond.
But don't sell it - I thought of selling mine 3 yrs ago to get a sport tourer, but I'm so glad I kept it - I think with suspension upgrade this moto is perfect.
Just my .02
