98 FOR SALE $2,800
I am Located in NH. Selling so I can buy a RC51, i'll be back to the superhawk some day. It has just over 33,000 miles, and will continue to go up as I still ride it regularly. It has manual cam chain tensioners, gear -1 +2 (15/43) renthal sprockets with 3k mi on them, BMC air filter, factory pro jet kit, PAIR system removed, TPS adjusted within Spec, 2000 Yamaha R1 voltage regulator, two-brothers carbon fiber low mount dual exhaust, custom under-tail, tinted windscreen, t-rexx frame sliders, flush mount turn signals, LED integrated tail/brake/turn signal, polished wheels and some other custom painting. I also have a tank bag, extra mirrors, extra wiring harness, stock windscreen, stock air filter, stock jets, stock gears and everything needed to undo the PAIR system removal.
I am the second owner and have owned it since June 2008. I have put just over 15,000 miles on it and it has been very well behaved for me aside from the voltage regulator. I had the valves adjusted last spring on may 13 2009 at 23,400 mi and the carbs dyno tuned this spring at 29,000 mi, I have the charts for HP and torque from the dyno runs. I have most maintenance records and most receipts. Has clean title. I have always used Honda oil filters, Honda 10W-40 gold without Moly changed every 2,000 mi. Previous owner used mobile 1 fully synthetic 10-40. It has fresh oil, clutch and brake fluid, and coolant. Everything works flawlessly, paint is immaculate for 98. Scratches on clutch side engine cover. Small crack in clutch side fairing next to lower bracket. (have to be 4 ft or closer to see it) 3 pin-sized dings in paint on tank.( less than 2 ft to see it) no dents. Small crack in tail section (8 ft to see it) I low sided last year. It was wearing frame sliders but damage was minimal. It really isn't that bad, it may sound bad but I am just being straight forward. I will send pics of the described damage upon request. This bike has been my baby. I have put a lot of hours into maintaining it. I'm sure there is more I am forgetting...
