600rr STICK COILS - Ignition Coil Upgrade

I just did the stick coil mod to my superhawk. I bought a complete set of 4 coils with harness, so now I have two spare coils. Includes plugs and harness needed to splice into your existing coil harness. $40 plus shipping 600rr STICK COILS - Ignition Coil Upgrade-stick-coils.jpg

PM sent

BTW, what is your opinion of the post-mod result? FWIW, I had done it to mine (same time as adding the BMC street filter and noticed a substantial difference in how the bike runs)...

I think Tweety picked up about 2hp (dyno) when he did this. But really it is usually more of a weight loss new parts thing..

Loosing some weight and wire clutter under the tank is the main one... Marginal performance improvements if your coils and cables are in good order as of now...

However if they are getting old and second hand like mine, it means a few hp in difference...

Well, I now have a spare set on the way. Will have them on hand to replace the ones I have in there now a few years down the road they get tired......

*STICK COILS SOLD*

I did notice a difference in the way my Hawk ran and started after doing the stick coil mod, probably because my OEM parts were worn out and tired...Seemed to have better throttle response too..

The RC51 dudes have been claiming big improvements when switching to a coil-on-plug setup. I've heard claims of better starting, idle, crisp throttle, etc but nothing about extra hp.

yeah when I did this mod I noticed better starting and idle as well.... I never had my bike on the dyno before or after so as far as HP gains I just don't know... and for under $100 for 4 coils it's worth it...... all around I can't complain at all......
