2004 Black w/gold rims 2200 miles
Just bought it, change in plans. I've put 65 miles on it. It's perfect. I just have too many toys and need to simplify.

I spent 11 hours driving and 110.00 in gas to pick it up. So no I'm not selling it for any less. 4496.99 w/ "Documentation fee".

Yeah, we should keep opinions out of for sale threads. We would not want someone commenting on an item we may be selling. Personally Black with gold rims makes me warm and fuzzy inside . Reminds me of my old Bandit T/A I had as a kid.

Many here are too young to remember the JPS Lotus F1 cars. I loved them as a young guy and black cars and bikes with gold wheels/trim have a special place in my heart.
Here's a picture of the Lotus 79, which started the ground effects revolution in F1 and had a ridiculous advantage over the competition at the time and provided Mario Andretti with the F1 world championship in 1978.

And its predecessor, the less effective Lotus 77.

I can't belive it sold for under $4,500! VTR's have to be the most under-appreciated bike to ever roll off an assembly line.
