1999 Superhawk For Sale
The time has finally come. I'm turning 40 and must sell my 1999 Superhawk with low mileage and a bunch of accessories. I've owned it since 2000 and it's been stored in a heated garage ever since. Bike is currently located in Salem, NH and I live south of Boston in Milton. I may be able to have the bike delivered within reason.
Here's a partial list of the installed goodies:
Two Brothers Racing Carbon Fiber Pipes
TBR stainless headers sent out to be ceramic coated
Custom modified TBR lower fairing
Custom Corbin gel seat
Michelin Pilot tires F&B
Carbon fiber tank magnet
Carbon fiber triple tree cover
Carbon fiber around the gauge cluster
K&N air filter
DynoJet kit
1000 layers of wax (well, maybe a 100)
I've also got a matching Arai helmet and another matching spare helmet
and I'll even through in a Wolfe magnetic tank bag and a tail bag.
The bike has roughly 11,000 miles on it and I'm asking $2950.
Thanks!

Thanks! I'm hoping the price isn't too high considering all the extras. I hate to let it go but I ride it once a year for friend's charity ride and my wife won't let me buy any other toys until I sell it. Forgot to mention in the ad, it has a new battery too!

I sold my 98 with 24,000 miles on it and it was lowsided (little damage) a month or so ago with 2 feet of snow on the ground for $2100 to the first guy that looked at it.You should have no problem selling it now, with all the bikes out(spring fever).

Wish I was in the market for another, it's a really nice bike. It's probably a good thing you're not local as I think I'd have a hard time not trying to buy it. Just wanted to let you know I just sold my yellow '99 a few months back for $2750. Had just over 20k miles on it. It was spotless and stock other than debaffled pipes, a new second look seat and tank cover, cheapo tint screen, new michelins, and new 520 chain and sprocket kit. I'm always telling people they're asking too much but in your case I think it's a really good deal and am surprised it isn't sold yet. You have half the mileage and quite a few more aftermarket parts than mine did. The other option is to sell off the aftermarket stuff and sell the bike closer to stock. You could put an easy thousand dollars in your pocket and not really have to ask much less for the bike. Good luck.

Wow these bike really aren't worth ****.........you'd think on a site dedicated to these bikes that when someone was trying to give one away it wouldn't last a couple hours. I'm guessing this has gotta be the least popular selling motorcycle in the world, yet i think it's gotta be one of the funnest to ride, and i think it looks the classiest, at least out of the jap bikes, not gonna compare to a 916 duck.

Keep in mind most of us already own at least one, so it's not always the best audience to sell a superhawk to. Now parts is another story... And yeah they're definitely good deals-hard to find more bike for the money.

I've got a '97 916 and, although a fabulously beautiful ride, it doesn't compare to the 'Hawk. The 996 is just fun to ride. The Duc is great for impressing people, but it is finicky, expensive to maintain, and painful to ride for any distance. But incredibly fun on the track. Powerslides like no other.

No winrider didn't get it. We had a nice chat but he's in TN and the bike was in NH... I ended up posting it on Craigslist and a local guy bought it within a couple of hours. I didn't include any of the extras so I'll be posting them for sale on this site in the next day or two. I've got helmets, tank & tail bags, Honda service manual, jet kit, etc... stay tuned!

i'm glad to hear that you actually got more than you were asking on here. it's nice to see our investment aren't completely worthless unless your riding the **** outta them. hope you enjoy riding your other bike, i know the guy that bought yours is happy a kid in a candy store today!
