Haha maybe if I get tired of bumping this thread I will, I think he knows a guy in NJ with a blue one. And I know one of his friends has an sv1000s. Which one did you get again?

I picked up the one in Connecticut with 6000 miles, Two Brother's pipes and Sargent seat ... it is truely MINT.
I already added a Targa windscreen and tank bra (for some reason I like them)

I'm interested in the bike. This is my first post on this site and for some reason I can't figure out how to "pm" here. Please pm to figure out a good time to see it.

Lazy Lightning - you can just email me if you want to, its Josh4285@gmail.com
Otherwise Im off tomorrow, you can stop by anytime, shes parked out in front of my house. Where are you coming from? If anyone else is interested feel free to call 484.896.8111 I may not answer right away if at all if I dont recognize the number, leave me a voicemessage and I will call you back.
I was thinking about this today also, I JUST purchased that PitBull stand in the picture, cost me $160. I'll include it with the bike.

Re: 1998 VTR1000 F/S $4500
As a person who tried to sell my ZZR1200 on the ZZR1200 site, for 6 months, with absolutely no takers. I likened it to trying to "sell icecubes to eskimoes", because everyone on the site already owns the exact same bike. Granted you will always have "guests" coming for the sole purpose of looking for a bike, but I am not sure how often that happens.
Oddly enough I did not even know about this site before I committed to buying my Superhawk. Had I known, my search might have been easier.
Anyway, ultimately I ended up having to take alot less for my ZZR1200 than I wanted ..... (didn't matter too much, since the ex-wife got half anyway)
But I definitely feel your frustration, it does suck.
Part of MY problem was bad timing, and part of it was the fact that I had a bunch of modifications, that weren't "worth" anything to anybody. Eventually I would have found someone that wanted it the way it was, and paid any amount for it, but I was not willing to wait for that to happen. Even though I thought my bike was exceptional, I gave it away.
Then I ran into an awesome deal on buying my Superhawk. $4200 for a totally mint bike, which included a $600 exhaust, and a $300 seat was totally worth it.
So now, coming from someone who actually rode your bike, and "considered" buying it, I have to say, you have your work cut out for you. Don't take this the wrong way, but your bike is "average" at best. Your best bet was to lower the price to $4000. I think you should be able to sell it for that price, you just have to find the right person looking. It may take a while. Hang in there buddy !
