1998 Superhawk....... Providence area 2000 obo
I picked up this bike a few weeks ago, and my daily driver just grenaded its rear end. So much for a project bike!
Well, its got 28k miles, charges well, runs tight, no noises in the motor. It was dropped in a garage (supposedly) and both uppers are cracked. The tail is as well. There is no frame damage of any type. The frame is polished, the swingarm as well, and the rear wheel lip. The previous owner apparently lost interest when his freshly painted bike fell.......
I'm a new member so of course I don't have any street cred........ But if there is someone close enough for a drive I figured this would be the best place to sell a bike...........
Well, if anyone has any questions feel free to reply...... and I will be posting pictures up as I get more detailed ones.......

front rim is polished now, the bodywork is almost done, matching up the paint.
Trying to match the paint, the color appears to be navy blue metallic from GM.... will hopefully have it painted by Wednesday.

Trashed to hell, yep. Got a take off or a new one that I will be ordering via ebay tomorrow. Bike is also getting Bar end mirrors either Napolean or CRG and new levers (these are 2 fingers, people don't like them except me). Also new rear turn signals and new tail light (I screwed the tail light. I was clear coating it to give it a neat look and botched the job. Sprayed it with stripper and ruined the friggin light. Ooops)

Bump...... CRG's Renthal grips, new tail light, and a tire on the way..... Paint was matched by Carquest.... they have that 10k dollar scanner that kicks ***. Found my shade, now time to order the paint and get a new gun, and the paint will be done Tuesday!!
Trade for smaller bike/truck/car............ make me an offer/trade..........

nice bike, I'm nearby in RI. If I didnt have my hawk I'd make an offer on that in a heartbeat. My bike needs a stator right now too. I'm pissed.

With the upper fairing already trimmed, this bike will be a candidate for some really radical handlebar mods.

Heck yeah, talk about sitting SV650 ish on a TL1000ish power bike, I would imagine it would wheelie in 3rd sitting more upright.... I have a few trade offers, and might take one of them up
So if anyone is interested in a 2003 KLX400 (true street titled from factory) with 9000 miles, let me know........
