Explains why I don't get any phone calls about....
My 1998 Superhawk I have for sale.
People have said to me, on the phone that they feel 16,000 miles is too many.
Lowballers say all sorts of stupid **** on the phone and then can't even be bothered to come see the bike in person. Bike looks really nice.
Good luck with the sale.

people who think 16k miles is alot obviously don't know anything about riding. I have almost hit that in one riding season. 100k miles may be more appropriate to say it is alot ....bah posers!

I must be crazy, because yesterday I caught myself thinking about flying out from the east coast and riding it back, I have a handy plane ticket hook up...I love San Diego, it would be a nice break from the cold snowy winter here. Hmmmm, maybe I could vacation there until the weather breaks, than ride home in the spring hahaha

Sorry Anto if it is felt I "Threadjacked" you. That was not my intentions at all.
I was trying to share in your frustrations and relate.
On the other hand,
I don't feel adding "LOL" at the end of a statement makes you sound like any less of an ***.

Hence why I stopped trying to sell mine. Plus with how ambivalent I was about selling, I knew I'd regret getting rid of it IF it did sell...The hawk will have a permanent place in my garage.

I feel the same way. My bike is worth much more to me than I could get for it. But that's why I bought it in the first place!
Eventually, I might buy a second bike. But I can't see getting rid of the 'Hawk until it becomes unreliable or too expensive to keep.

Do you still have the bike for sale? If so do you have a ph# with area code. I am in Illinois and have a friend that is serious about talking to you. He has not been able to contact you through his email system. He wants the bike, helmet and jacket. And he is well aware you are in Cali.. And would would have to arrange shipping..
Thanks
