1998 Honda Superhawk FOR SALE - Reading PA
For sale is my 1998 Red Honda Superhawk. The bike has 25000 miles and it runs great and was always maintained by a great mechanic. I bought this bike at the beginning of the summer and barely put any miles on it. I bought it from a friend that completely worked it out. I know its jetted, different sprocket, and it comes with Dual Jardine pipes. It has almost new tires on it that are very expensive and from are very sticky for leaned over turns. The only flaw is I did drop it coming to a stop (only a couple miles an hour) on some gravle so the fairing and some parts are scratched but intact. There are no cracks to the fairing just some scuffs. Nothing major was bent and it rides true. The only thing bent is the clutch lever and the turn signal is loose. I do have the factory turn signals to go with the bike. I replaced the shifter pedal with a brand new one. I’ve ridden it several times after that. The bike pulls like mad and is a wheelie machine. It was way too much horsepower for a beginner so I’m going to sell it and possibly get something smaller. The first $3,000 takes it.

Sorry to hear you're selling the bike. Sounds like maybe you think it's to much bike. I hate to say it but I disagree. I think even a beginner can have a lot of fun with these bikes. Try taking an MSF basic and advanced riders course if you haven't already done so. Some of the other members may hate me for saying this, but you will have a hard time finding a bike with less, or more user friendly, power.
My vote is, stick with it. In the end I think you'll really like it.
