47k miles on odometer, speedo is off by 15% (Reads High), due to stock inaccuracy and gearing change, so actual mileage is somewhat less. Engine has about 30k
Good mechanical condition, fairings have some cosmetic damage, but are completely in tact. A couple of small dents on the right side of the tank, paint is good. The engine was changed at 25k, with a 12k salvage motor due to a bad 2nd gear shift fork from the previous owner, spare engine ran great, just popped out of 2nd gear above 5k rpm, so I changed it. It is included in the deal for parts if you choose.
This bike is a torque monster and is known as the "poor mans" Ducati...
Details as follows:
Staintune High mount pipes
50% life on chain and sprockets
Front tire due replacement, not bald or unsafe
Rear tire about 60% life left
Rear shock shimmed 1cm
Stiffer fork springs up front
Manual APE CCT's, stock units were prone to failure
Factory Pro jetting kit installed
Headlights relay kit installed, provides full batt voltage to the lamps, and allows the lo and hi beams to light in the high position, much brighter lighting.
K & N airfilter
Barend mirrors, can't see past your elbows with stock mirrors
1yr on battery
-1 tooth on front sprocket, from stock
Galfer steel braided brake lines on front
Don't hold the mileage against it, I put 25k on it primarily as a commuter, and it honestly runs like the day I bought it, about 6yrs ago. I've been down on it twice at low speed, and dropped it off a jack once while servicing the front forks, cause of the fairing damage, and tank dents. this bike is very reliable, and will not let you down.
Asking $2300
spare parts engine, repairable front wheel, and a box of random parts all included.

I've corrected a couple of things, and the edits are a little slow...
Fairings are a little rough, I've been down on it twice a low speed, maybe 6/10
comes with a spare engine for parts, and a front wheel, has a ding in it but can only be felt while braking... repairable. Also a boxfull of some random pieces I've accumulated, petcock, coils, one stock mirror... etc

Damnit, this is exactly the kind of bike I WILL be looking for in a short while, but right now I just can't pull the trigger. I wish you good luck with the sale, and I'm sure -sadly for me- it will be gone soon.
