Fork damper screw replacment

The PO kinda messed the the slot on one of the fork caps and I was wondering if it's possible to replace the screws?

Yes, but not sold as service item far as i have found..
Unless someone has an In at mother Showa ..i think you'll need to find a good used one to swap in.

Aren't we talking about BOLT, FR. FORK, 51454-KV3-781, item #15 of the front forks assembly? $33 at Partzilla. Or do I misunderstand?

isnt that just the cap? I need the top screw that controls dampening

That is the just the cap, the adjuster is part of the long damper rod needle and not a service part

It commonly is sold with the cap if the forks are bent and parted

It often is reusesble even if the stanchikns have a slight bend from crashing.

It may not be reusable if the fork stanchion has a significant bend
