Looks like this now... Ive got about 3-4000 km on these new tires. Its clear my chain is rubbing, because it is only on the one side. I changed the chain and sprokets(Ive done it before with no issue, stock size, DID 550).

Five days ago... Minor wear made me think it was an aftermarket chain guard I installed rubbing, so I removed it and pht tge plastic one back on.

My tire sidewall is being shredded by my chain. Nothing looks obviously wrong.

I put 3 - 4000 kms on this new tire before i started to notice slight wear. I thought it was an aftermarket metal chain guard I had installed, so I switched it back to the stock plastic one.

I thought it had to do with an aftermarket chainguard I installed, and ai was actually going to make a separate post about them, becausr Ive had nothing but problems with them, but I switched back to the stock plastic one and it still got worse.

My aftermarket chainguard kept bending and breaking, but along the redlines axis, inward, toward the tire.

This what led me to beleive it was the guard, but as I mentioned, I reverted back to the stock plastic guard.
