Purchased bike in 2011. Its condition was questionable. It looked great, actually too great. But it ran well.

I purchased a set of Yoshimura pipes and changed pilot jets from #45 to #48. Bike runs very well and has good power. Currently getting between 42 and 46mpg on the highway. Otherwise in the City I am in the 35 to 39mpg range.

There are no plans to perform any major modifications. Its already a fast and reliable runner. I can already keep up with the "fast guys" with the VTR. If I need serious speed and handling I have my other bike. Read more ยป

An offroad excursion into the desert outside of Death Valley Natl Park. The temperatures were only in the 80's.

The area was extremely barren probably from the alkaline levels in the ground. It was also pretty soft in areas. I found this out as my front wheel dug in deep on occasion. Not a good place to get stranded.

Hwy 58 somewhere between highway 5 and highway 101. One of the most amazing highways in California for riding. Over 70 miles of smooth highway with serious twisties.

This is definitely one of the hidden secrets.
