This is what happens when you diy peel ply and don't make big enough holes... Any bag will do but smooth stuff with penny nail holes is better.

As you can see the part looks OK but the wax failed me big time. Hence the fiber stuck to it. It may have melted when curing. I honestly suggest clear tape for a cheap job it leaves such a small edge its easy to sand out.

Sand method. Good peel ply reccomended. This helps push the carbon to form.
