Unplug dash, run out of gas

So yet another quirk. I had disconnected the dash to check connections for my new one. After reconnecting it I rode off from Queens to Brooklyn and promptly ran out of gas on hells hiway (the BQE).

Turns out the tripmeter doesnt keep miles so you can get tricked into this schenario.

No fun to push.....

Thats a good idea. I have motow which is supposed to do that but on this one I knew I could just walk for gas. I am going to look into the RV cuz I have AAA.

They have thier quirks though. Like last time I was stranded they said they couldnt come get me since I didnt know what state I was in. (I knew the 2 interstates). Pretty maddening.

That's just lousy customer service. They could have looked up on a map your location based on which interstate you were on and possibly a mile marker.
