What is the thread size for the flywheel? is it 24mm? I need to get the flywheel off.

My options are: get the Honda tool (probably $$$$) take the motor to the shop and pay ($$) or, as I did for most of my HD "special tools", make my own.

I went to Tacoma screw and tried a 20mm bolt. It was to small and the next size that they carried was 24 w/coarse thread.

Any assistance is appreciated.

 

Its 22mm x 1.5.

It took all of 2 seconds (with a electric impact wrench) to get flywheel off
