So I got my new Motorcyle consumer news in the mail (best moto mag ever)

Couldn't help remember a debate about the analog temp guages accuracy.

This guy has a kit to mod the temp guage face to include numbers!

I thought this was a cool idea. Solves the problem in a simple and easy manner.

 

whats the problem that this solves? or is it just to have a better idea of engine temp?

my first thought is that the temp gauge is off causing fan to come on early/late?

 

It changes the blank sweep of a needle into numerical values to actually tell temp.
