driving home from work 1am this morning and while in the work parking lot warming it up choke on its idling perfect then a big hiccup then back to idling perfect then min later big hiccup. never did that before then riding home seemed like ever stop light if i revved it up from idle it would Carb fart first then revv up.so I'm confused as to maybe the plugs that I just did are not operating properly or if something else like Carb sync could cause this it if there is another underlining problem that I'm missing.as usual I'm asking u guys first I always seem to get the most help here rather then the Stealership or bike shop

 

I always start by looking at that which was last worked on such as plugs and wires.

 

ok that's true.I think I'm going to buy new plugs and do them again this weekend ever since I did the plugs gas mileage drop 30 miles to a tank

 

could it b caused by electrical at all? I mean it just seems weird and i know its not right.doesn't hiccup at cruising speed at all

 

Are the plugs both properly tight and the cap on fully?

 

What's the recent history of the bike - when was it fully serviced? i.e air filter, carb balance new plugs etc.

What's the idle set at? Are the choke cables working correctly?

 

I did oils and just Did the plugs.that's it so far.as for Carb sync nor balance I'm not sure I haven't done the sir yet I need to tho.its getting kinda dirty.idle is right about 1,200 and the choke seems to work jut fine pulls in our ok and when i choke it I jut touch the ignition ans it fires up first shot every time
