Spark plug reading
Spark Plug reading is very pre 1980.
The practice involving brand new never run plugs, a full throttle run with ignition & throttle chop at speed... then pulling the plugs to observe them worked very well before all the different gas additives and mixes or season gas came into play.
If you're hell bent on doing a plug "reading" ... get yourself some clean, fresh race gas.. two new plugs and a dyno or open road and a trailer to take the bike home.
That said...... "reading" plugs still has some limited usefulness.
The plug above shows no severe internal engine damage (no physical damage on the plug no sign of metal deposits), no serious oil getting past valve seals or rings, no signs of severe pre ignition....
So there is that

Plug reading is more of a two stroke thing than four stroke. It used to be much more important than it is now (I used to do it all the time on my RD's) But I'd have to agree, that plug looks like its been burning puuurrr fectly
