Some white smoke @ idle

Anyone give me the skinny on causes of slight white smoke coming from the exhaust at idle. Usually white smoke is indicative of water being introduced in the system, right? Noticed this late afternoon yesterday during a 200 mile ride in 95 degree weather while sitting in traffic. Its a '98 SH with 24k miles. The temp gauge shows slightly more then half way when It will start to produce the whitish smoke, at a warm idle. It does not smoke at lower engine temps or at startup.

Ideas??

Are you running antifreeze? If so then smell the exhaust. If it distinctly smells like antifreeze then it ain't good. If not then I wouldn't worry about it. Is it actual smoke or just steam? Steam goes away quickly. Smoke does not.
