Rear wheel removal

Hi.

Yesterday i took the rear wheel off the bike but it took me 2 hours to get the axle out. Iv had the wheel off before and it took less than 10 mins. Any idea why this happened. Should i grease it up before i put the wheel back on?

A light coating of grease couldn't hurt. Make sure the wheel is straight before attempting to pull the axle and that you have loosened the chain adjusters.

I put a wee bit of grease on it and the axle went back in easy. Hopefully it will come back out with less hassle next time.
