Newbie Suspension Question

Hi All - I just bought a Superhawk a week ago. 2001 with just 4,500 miles. Having previously owned a Ducati, I wanted the V-twin experience without the endless annoying expensive wtf hassles. I think I've got it, what a great bike.

I've heard a lot of complaining about the suspension and it doesn't feel all that great, but my other bike is a KTM Duke which has incredible suspension so I can't tell if a) the Hawk is that bad, b) the Duke is that good, or c) a bit of both.

I've also heard that Hawk stock suspension gets worse with a heavier rider and I barely tip the scales at 160#. Does anyone have an opinion on front and rear suspension settings? It's going in for a precautionary oil change and fluid flush next week, other than that I have done nothing but ride it with a big grin.

Thanks!

superhawk22 is an unknown quantity at this point
The oem setup is for a rider of about 120lbs so, a) it's not that good stock,(good for spirited street not real hard riding) b)The Duke is c) everything can be fixed depending on how much you want to spend and which route you want to take. Congrats on the purchase.
